On April 8, 2019, Dong-A Socio Holdings (President Han Jong-hyun) announced the opening of its Welcome Center for employees at its Yongdu-dong headquarters in Dongdaemun-gu, Seoul.
The Welcome Center was conceived as a pleasant in-house community space where all employees of Dong-A Socio Holdings, Dong-A ST, and Dong-A Pharm will feel happy and contented in their work under the banner of 'Let’s Be a Happy Company.’
The Welcome Center, whose construction began in September 2018, covers a space of 162.41 m2 in the 1BF, 202.47 m2 in the 1F, and 209.8 m2 in the 2F.
The 1BF is a private rest area comprising the book square ‘D STYLE’ where employees can read books and relax, and a video lecture hall ‘D HERO HALL’ where movies and audiovisual materials are available; the 1F is a business space consisting of the meeting place ‘D OPEN’ where external guests and employees can meet up comfortably; the 2F contains the shared conference room ‘D-WORK’ for workshops and seminars; and, finally, the rooftop is designed as a green rest space called 'D SHIM’.
The 1F and 2F are entirely glass-walled so as to allow employees to communicate and relax in an open place and regenerate their creativity.
An official of Dong-A Socio Holdings said, “The happiness of employees is the foundation of a company’s growth. We will continue to strengthen our work environment and welfare system to create a company where employees can work happily and grow together.”
