On November 25, Dong-A Socio Group announced that the company would be carrying out ‘Grow Together’, a group-wide love sharing campaign, in which all employees of the group would be required to participate to commemorate the company’s 87th anniversary.
Dong-A Socio Group organized the love sharing campaign ‘Grow Together’ in order to practice the values of social responsibility and sharing as a healthcare company responsible for the health and happiness of mankind and to pay back society for all the support and help it has given Dong-A Socio Group since its foundation in 1932.
Since 2017, employees of the group, including those of Dong-A Socio Holdings, Dong-A ST, and Dong-A Pharm, have been carrying out social contribution activities to commemorate the group’s anniversary.
In order to internalize the core value ‘Grow Together’ of Dong-A Socio Group and express gratitude to its neighbors and wider society, the group will expand its social contribution activities to all affiliates and subsidiaries including Dongcheonsu, DA Information, and Yongma Logistics from this year on.
Employees of Dong-A Socio Group nationwide will voluntarily participate in social contribution activities during the month of November to commemorate the company’s foundation day on December 1.
Employees of the Yeongnam and Incheon branches of Dong-A ST participated in environmental cleanup activities in Hwangseong Park, Gyeongju, Gyeongsangbuk-do, and the Guwol Asiad Athlete’s Village Neighborhood Park, Namdong-gu, Incheon, respectively. Meanwhile, employees at the headquarters volunteered to clean the environment and bake cakes of love at the Dongdaemun-gu Volunteer Center in Seoul.
Employees of the Daegu and Gyeongbuk branches of Dong-A Pharm delivered lunchboxes and side dishes to underprivileged elderly people in Seongdang-dong, Dalseo-gu, Daegu Metropolitan City. In addition, employees of the Incheon factory helped the elderly eating and spent time together as “talking buddies”, at the Eunbit Sarangchae Shinha Daytime Care Center, Icheon, Gyeonggi-do.
Employees of Dongcheonsu volunteered for kimchi making, briquette delivery, and lunch services in the Hwabuk-myeong region and at the Sangju Social Welfare Center in Sangju, Gyeongsangbuk-do. Meanwhile, employees of DA Information prepared and served a warm meal to senior citizens at the Wondang Social Welfare Center in Goyang-si, Gyeonggi-do.
Furthermore, the group will carry out various social contribution activities including a blood donation campaign, donations to low-income families, babysitting at the temporary care center of the Holt Children's Services, the free meal provision campaign ‘Bobfor’, and a nursery volunteer program.
An official of Dong-A Socio Group said, “All of our employees participate in these social contribution activities together in the hope of creating a happier society. We will continue to fulfill our social responsibilities and serve our neighbors and society every year.”
Dong-A Socio Group has continued engaging in various social contribution activities to fulfill its corporate social responsibility and to create a brighter, healthier society. The group has organized the ‘Sarang Nanum (Sharing Love) Charity Bazaar’ with local residents of Dongdaemun-gu and employees of Dong-A Socio Group, the free meal provision campaign ‘Bobfor’, and the ‘Bigen Again’, a hair dye volunteer service for senior citizens.
