On October 11, Dong-A Socio Group announced that the group carried out a mural drawing campaign on the 10th near Cheongnyangni Station in Dongdaemun-gu, Seoul.
This mural drawing campaign was designed to create a pleasant and safe walking environment for local residents along with Dongdaemun-gu District Office.
The wall on which the murals were painted is a 70-meter-long gray retaining wall situated between Cheongnyangni Station and the University of Seoul. The area, through which many locals frequently pass by, had a dark and dull atmosphere that called out for aesthetic improvement.
About 70 participants from ‘Dong-A Mentoring’ program consisting of new and experienced employees in Dong-A Socio Holdings, Dong-A ST, and Dong-A Pharm, and DM Bio participated in the mural drawing campaign. They painted the gray retaining wall with vivid scenes of mountains, trees and birds to create a bright, lively atmosphere.
Jeon Sang-seok of the General Affairs Team of Dong-A Socio Holdings said, “We did our best to transform the dark atmosphere of the retaining wall into a bright and lively one. I hope that our hard work will brighten the mood of anyone who passes by the wall.”
Dong-A Socio Group has been carrying out various social contribution activities to fulfill its corporate social responsibility and to create a brighter, healthier society. The group also runs the ‘Sarang Nanum (Sharing Love) Charity Bazaar’ with local residents of Dongdaemun-gu and employees of Dong-A Socio Group, the free meal provision campaign ‘Bobfor’, and the free hair dye volunteer service for senioir citizens, ‘Bigen Again Campaign’.
